This new Bohemia Bartenders Mystery brings Pepper Revelle and her mixologist friends to Scotland to solve a mystery surrounding creepy letters plaguing her favorite Scottish actor, who also happens to be the front man for their client, an iconoclastic scotch distiller. Orkney is north of the Scottish mainland. It’s so far north, its latitude is on par with Anchorage or southern Greenland. The sun sets there very late in the summer, and the night is never completely dark. Because it’s made of islands, a view of the sea is never far away. And it’s full of fascinating history — Neolithic, Viking, Renaissance — and ruins and stone circles to go with it. It’s a rich setting for a mystery, and the bartenders get to meet a fun new set of characters. Of course, their good friends are along for the ride.
